Concordia University, also referred to simply as Concordia or Université Concordia in French, is a next-generation university that aims to reimagine higher education for the future. The public research university was founded in 1974 by merging two prominent colleges: Loyola College (founded in 1896) and Sir George Williams University (founded in 1926).
